  • September 2008 - A New School Record!!
    Kye made a real break through this term at school, apart from remaining exceptionally well, she managed to attend school for the best part of the term, joining activities with school friends and taking part in not only the making of a short film in conjunction with fellow students at Oakleigh School, which a premier screening (a real red carpet event) at the Brixton Ritzy but she also won an Award for her participation and an award for best dress (see picture gallery). It was a fantastic day and we all were so proud of her and her fellow school mates - Well Done Kye Kye , well Done Oakleigh.
  • August 2008 - Sensory Unit Arrives
    Finally, all our hard work has paid off, a very big thank you to all the supporters, contributions, time and dedication put in to help achieve our goal. In August 2008 all monies were secured and we were able to present Kye Kye with her sensory unit (see picture gallery). Much appreciation and heart felt thanks to all who gave time and effort, in making this dream come true. Kye Kye now enjoys most evenings before bedtime listening to soft relaxing music whilst having her feet and hands massaged while she relaxes in her unit. The unit settles Kye Kye and we all notice a marked difference in how relaxed she is. You can see Kye enjoying her Sensory unit in the picture gallery. Once again A big thank you to all who contributed in making this dream come true.

    Annual Street Party. Owing to the success of our pervious parties, we have decided to host another Street Party this year to demonstrate our appreciation for all the support we have received and to celebrate Kye Kye's strength and energy despite everything. We hope you will all come along to share the love in this celebration.< see picture gallery> Several raffle tickets were purchased with some great prizes here are some of the prizes won - Nintendo Wii Console (Winner Claire (Oakleigh School), Handy Man 4 The Day (Winner Monica Ewing - visiting from JA)
  • March 22nd 2008 - Toddlers' Sponsored Walk
    Up to 35 toddlers will be taking part in a sponsored walk to help raise funds and awareness. The walk will take place at 11:00am and will start at the Broadwalk Shopping mall, Station road, Edgware, and will end with a feast kindly donated by Mcdonalds in Edgware. The toddlers will be escorted by our local community police. All support and encouragement on the day will be appreciated.   • Easter Raffle March 2008
    An Easter raffle was kindly organised by Linda Baines. To date £136.00 has been raised. To purchase raffle tickets call 07956 439 796. Closing date 14th March.
  • Sunday June 25th 2006 - HOPE Trust Street Party/Award ceremony
    As a massive thank you to all our supporters, a celebration of Kye Kye's sustained good state and to award those who have taken place in the most recent fundraising events (Cross Country Run and Swimathon) the Kye Kye HOPE Trust hosted a street party between 1pm-6pm on Norwich Walk (off Orange Hill Road) Edgware, Middx. There was food, drink and lots of entertainment for everyone, children and adults. Many neighbours, friends and general volunteers helped organise and run this event; thank you so much it would have been impossible without you.   • Saturday June 10th 2006 - Cross Country Run
    A dedicated friend and volunteer for the Kye Kye Hope Trust did a sponsored cross-country run to help raise money for Kye Kye's return to Cuba.. More details to follow.   • Saturday June 10th 2006 - Return to Cuba: Swimathon
    To start off our next major run of fund-raising in order for Kye Kye to return to Cuba for further treatment, we had a swimathon on June 10th. It began at 2pm and was a lot of fun for all involved. Big thanks and well-done to all who took part.
  • Sunday June 12th 2005 - Kye Kye Hope Trust Street Party
    We had a Street Party with our neighbours on Norwich Walk, Edgware on Sunday 12th June to celebrate Kye Kye's return home after her long and dramatic time in hospital after she acquired Hydrocephalus in February. It was also to thank all those who have supported us over the years and especially while Kye Kye was in a coma for a second time. The event took place between 2pm and 6pm and included musical entertainment, food, drink and bouncy castles for the children.
  • Kye Kye Hope Trust Car-Boot Sales
    On Saturday 26th March and Saturday 2nd April The Kye Kye Hope Trust held two Car-Boot sales in order to raise money for the Trust. Special thank you to all those who donated and to those who came to help us sell (Matthew K, Anjie P, Uma M, Farid F, Katie B, Kingsley K)

  • Kye Kye Hope Trust Photo-Shoot - February 2005
    On 9th February 2005 we had a special photo-shoot for the Kye Kye Hope Trust to promote the Hope Trust and its products. The shoot was a lot of fun and we want to say a big thank you to all the models (Ian J, Keisha S, Kingsley K, Yasmin, Roshni M, Jordan, Zahra M, Muhammad, Katie B, Amjad K) and our wonderful photographer Surgeon.

  • Cham's Promotions Musical Fundraiser - October 2004
    On Friday 29 October 2004 Cham's Promotions and The Kye Kye HOPE Trust" (Formerly known as the Kye Kye HOPE Fund) Presented a musical fund raiser at Cougar Club, in Russell Gardens, W11. Music throughout the night provided by DJ Maddex (Shine 87.9fm), CKP (Soulful House), LV (variety, spice 4 life). Raffles on the night, great giveaways. A fantastic night was had by all. over £800 was raised on the night and all services were donated. A big Thank you to all involved.
  • Valentines Cake Sales 2004
    We had a home-made cake sale to raise further funds to ensure Kye Kye's treatment in Cuba. The sale was very successful, we also sold poetry and artwork. Thank you to all volunteers, both those who provided cakes and who helped to sell.
  • West London's Community Radio Football Championship - August 2003
    On Sunday 17th August 2003 The Kye Kye Hope Trust help a football tournament at Willesden Sports Center. The competing teams consisted of the following radio stations: Unique FM. Beat FM, Juice FM, Street FM, Roots FM and Revive FM. It was a fund day out for all the family, with Bouncy Castles, Fun Races, Face Painting, musical entertainment and lots of food and drink. Thank you to all those who took part and all those who came to support.
  • Well Look Here Promotions Night Club Event - March 2003
    On Saturday 29 March 2003 "Well Look Here Promotions & The Kye Kye HOPE Fund" Presented a Fund Raising Event, held at the prestigious Illusion Night Club, SW London (which was kindly donated by Management), with Food, Dance PA's and great music. Over £3,000 was raised on the night and a further £800.00 from sale of HOPE T-Shirts,which contributed to the treatment for Kye Kye in Cuba. A great night was had by all. A big thank you to all those who contributed in making this night a great success.
